We Need Your Help!

1. Tell your story

We rely on input from throughout the community in deciding what to include.
Have you heard an interesting story you think we should know about?
Do you know someone in the community we should interview?
Do you have old photographs or home movies you'd be willing to share?

2. Volunteer

Conduct interviews, write, shoot photographs, research a topic, prepare images for the computer, or help with our innumerable office tasks. Shaping San Francisco is glad to work with people on a variety of commitment levels, from single assignments to on-going internships.

3. Make a donation to CounterPULSE

CounterPULSE is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Our largest source of funding is donations from individuals. Your support for our general operating expenses is very appreciated!

We spent over 18,000 hours between autumn 1994 and December 2004 learning about and then making this project... The first edition was released in January 1998, and the 2nd edition in May 2000. We hope it will help widen the scope of what is generally thought possible and worthwhile in this new media form. This is an ongoing work-in-progress (contact us for updates!) and needs contributions from many more people and groups.
